What's New

Every feature, fix, and improvement we ship — because your golf app should get better every week.

Updates October 29, 2026 v1.3.8

A little feedback, at the right time

Occasional App Store rating requests now appear after you review and save a scanned scorecard.
Requests wait until you have used SnapCard for a while and stay out of the way when something goes wrong.
Thanks for taking SnapCard out on the course!

Updates October 29, 2026 v1.3.7

Connection dropped? Retry a failed score save without re-entering your card.
Front-nine and back-nine scans keep the correct scores on the correct holes.
Share invitations more easily and see players who joined from the web.
Game Index and group changes now report failed saves so you can retry.
Solo games show the correct winner, and completed rounds save once in My Rounds.

Updates August 20, 2026 v1.3.6

Starting a game with your buddies takes fewer taps — pick your players and pairings sort themselves out
Payouts finally balance: everyone antes, winners split the pot, and the totals reconcile to the cent
Invite links now open straight in SnapCard instead of bouncing you to a browser
A scan that fails on a bad signal keeps your photo — one tap retries it, no retaking the card
Snapping a 27-hole card as two nines now reads everyone’s names off the card
The scoreboard tells you exactly which nine to snap next, and who still owes holes before the next round
Commissioners can add players to a game that’s already under way
Export your saved rounds with net scores, score to par, and birdie counts (Pro)

Updates July 29, 2026 v1.3.5

Scanning moved to a faster, more accurate AI model
Big numbers save exactly as written — high scores are no longer quietly capped
Fixed course search missing some clubs by name
Reorder or remove games from your home screen, and leave a game you’re no longer playing

Updates June 15, 2026 v1.3.4

Snap your own scorecard and we’ll auto-pick your name — one less tap every round
Edit a round’s date or delete old rounds right from My Rounds (Pro)
Solo rounds go straight to scoring — no more dead-ends
Your name now shows correctly in live chat
Switch Google accounts after signing out
Fixed new Google sign-ups skipping the welcome flow
Fixed a rare case where scores could vanish right after your first scan

New Features May 18, 2026 v1.3.3

Team Best Ball is here — pair up, watch team standings live, and we’ll split the pot for you automatically
Snap a single team-card row like “Eric/Kane” and we’ll match it to both teammates
Sign in with Google now uses the native iOS sheet — tap, pick your account, you’re in
Played 9 holes on a 27-hole course? You can now submit just the nine you played without losing your scores
The snap button tells you exactly which 9 it’s capturing (“Snap Front 9” / “Snap Back 9”)

Bug Fixes May 3, 2026 v1.3.2

Fixed an issue that could leave the app stuck on the loading screen after signing in
Fixed the close button on the What’s New panel — it now lives below the notch
Behind-the-scenes improvements so we can keep shipping the right fixes faster

Updates April 25, 2026 v1.3.1

27-hole courses are now supported — snap one 9, then the other, and we’ll stitch them into a single scorecard
Players you add to a game are no longer saved as SnapBuds automatically — tick the new checkbox if you want to remember them
Long-press any SnapBud on your profile to remove them
Add Player no longer gets hidden behind the keyboard when you open it on a phone
Score merge for 27-hole rounds matches by name, so a player who only joined for one 9 is handled correctly

New Features April 15, 2026 v1.3.0

Your buddies now see shared rounds on their profile — not just the person who scanned the card
Add SnapBuds from your profile — search existing users or invite friends by name
Quick-add your SnapBuds when creating a game — one tap to add your regulars
Filter My Rounds by course name
Profile stats now include rounds you played in, not just rounds you scanned

Major Update March 15, 2026 v1.2.0

Per-round payout breakdown on the close-out screen — Nassau shows Front 9, Back 9, and Overall separately
Context-aware paywall with clear upgrade messaging
In-app review prompts after finishing a game
Error logging, auto-retry on failed saves, and offline detection
Remote config — we can tune settings without shipping a new build
Camera now lets you upload a photo from your camera roll
