SnapCard Privacy Policy
Last Updated: April 2026
SnapCard Golf, LLC ("SnapCard", "we", "us", or "our") provides a mobile application and website enabling golfers to scan scorecards, track performance, and manage round history. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you use SnapCard.
By creating an account or using SnapCard, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
- Name
- Email address
- Authentication credentials (Google OAuth or Apple Sign-In)
1.2 Scorecard & App Content
- Photos you upload (scorecards)
- Extracted scoring data
- Round history, metrics, and BirdieBank Index values
1.3 Device & Usage Data
- Device type and operating system
- IP address
- App activity (e.g., number of rounds, features accessed)
- Crash logs and diagnostic reports
1.4 Subscription Information
Handled by our partner RevenueCat:
- Subscription status
- Renewal date
- Entitlement activation
SnapCard does not store full payment information.
1.5 SnapBuds & Shared Rounds
When you play golf with other people through SnapCard, we collect and share limited information to link rounds to the people who played them:
When you add someone as a SnapBud, we store:
- The SnapBud's display name (as you entered it, or as they set it on their own profile)
- Their SnapCard user ID, if they have an account
- The email address you optionally provide, used only to link your SnapBud to their account if they sign up later
- The date you added them
Round attribution (shared scores):
- When a scorecard is scanned or a game is played, each player on that scorecard who has a SnapCard account can see the round in their own Round History and profile stats.
- Other players on your scorecard can see your display name, avatar, and scores for that round.
- They cannot see your email, handicap, or any other profile data beyond what is visible on a scorecard.
Your choices:
- SnapBud relationships are one-directional — adding someone does not give them access to your profile or rounds they did not play in.
- You can remove a SnapBud at any time from the Profile screen.
- If someone has added you as a SnapBud without your consent, or you want your name or email removed from another user's SnapBuds list, email support@snapcardgolf.app and we will remove it.
- To remove yourself from a round another player scanned, contact support or delete your own SnapCard account (which removes all round attributions linked to your user ID).
1.6 Swing Video Submissions
If you submit a swing video through our Creator Program, we collect:
- Name and email address
- Social media handle (optional)
- Golf handicap (optional)
- Video file or video link
- Any notes you include with your submission
For submissions involving minors (under 18), we also collect the parent or legal guardian's name and email address, along with their verified consent.
Stakes Feature Data
If you use the optional Stakes feature:
What We Collect
- Stake amounts you enter (e.g., "$5 per player")
- Payout structures you configure
- Calculated payout breakdowns
What We Don't Collect
- SnapCard does not collect, process, or store any payment information or financial transactions.
- We do not know whether you actually settled with other players.
- If you use a third-party payment link (e.g., Venmo), that transaction is between you and that service. We do not receive or track payment confirmations.
Stakes data is stored with your round history and deleted if you delete your account. See Stakes Feature Terms for usage conditions.
